Problems handling Vimeo embed code

As described by Kurt here: http://chyrp.net/community/comme... and confirmed on latest git by me -- the "Embed" code snippet provided by Vimeo includes the element but also a <br> and <a> link back to Vimeo, which the Video feather can't handle.
Could the video textarea parse the pasted html, and if it contains an <object>, strip everything following </object> and move it to the caption (if the caption field is empty) ?
