Ajax Tag Selection

After writing a new post, when going to tag it, it would be nice if previously used tags would show up when beginning to type them.

I'm not a very big fan of dropdown selections when you're typing. It's a usability negative (they never feel natural), and it's just a bit too much going on as you type.

Would a clickable cloud type thing be an acceptable alternative? They use it here and I think it's fantastic - very snappy and easy to use:
